Oh boy, do I have a serious crush on these Chloe sunglasses. This is bad, very bad.

My $5 Wally World pair aren’t quite measuring up anymore!

As a side note, I love just about everything I see on Outnet. Why does it have to be so pricey? It’s just not fair I tell you!

Welcome Monday

With chili simmering in the crockpot and cookies in the oven last night, we relaxed our way right into Monday morning. It’s actually nice to be back in my office today. I love that I don’t hate Monday mornings.

Saturday Spaces & Places

My crush this week is this mid century modern 650 square foot beauty:

Photobucket

What I love about it:

* How black and white are counted as actual colors!

* The studio feel to the small space- I’ve always wanted to live in a studio.

* The foo dogs (of course.)

* The exposed pipes. Absolutely love how they blend in with the mix of masculine and feminine decor.

* The tufted sofa with exposed legs is my dream come true!

You must click through to see pictures of the rest of the space. You won’t be sorry! I’m a big fan of Jonathan Adler so this space really appeals to me.

I haven’t had much time or motivation to blog this week, other than putting this post together. I hope you don’t mind. Monday night I took an aerial trapeze class. It was a lot of fun but I’ve sure got the bruises to prove it wasn’t easy. Tuesday night I took a class with one of my coworkers that turned out to be so much fun and a great workout. I didn’t work out last night because I met my sister for dinner, but I have yoga tonight and zumba on Friday. If you haven’t tried zumba, you really should.

Needless to say, I’ve been coming home and falling straight into bed totally exhausted. That’s a good thing though, even if my blogging does suffer. We’ll see if I have enough energy to make it to my Saturday class! I might have to pass on that one.

Welcome Monday

Photobucket

It was a nice weekend. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nice. It was so sunny and warm today that Ashland and I decided to take a walk around the block. Just what we needed. I worked ahead on a lot of my homework, so it feels good to know that I won’t have to face any deadlines for awhile.

My mom just got home from a cruise for work. She’s a travel agent, so she got to go see the christening of the new Disney Dream ship. She called to tell me all the awesome details. Jennifer Hudson sang at the ceremony. It sounds like it was amazing and that the ship is just unbelievable.

Speaking of cool vacations, Andy and I have chosen a honeymoon and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s going to be so much fun. It’s the perfect honeymoon for us. June can’t come fast enough! We saw Andy’s parents on Saturday and talked wedding stuff. Every time I talk about the wedding, I get even more excited. It was nice to visit with the Lynne’s. They let me blabber on about whatever I want and I always feel like I can talk to them about anything.

There is just so much awesomeness coming up that I can hardly stand it. I think 2011 is going to be one of the best years yet.

The trick

When I moved in and started cooking we accumulated a lot of leftovers in the fridge. Now, I knew these boys knew how to eat- especially Corey- but somehow I was still throwing out old leftovers in the garbage can each week. Then I figured it out. Opening up the refrigerator to find out what was inside was just too much effort.

So this is my version of the easy button- better known as a ‘list that tells you exactly what leftovers are in the fridge and need to be eaten now.’

Photobucket

And you know what? It works like a charm. No more throwing out leftovers!! Good thing they don’t consider reading the list to be too much effort. Yay!

Hello, my friends! I’m so glad that it’s time for Weekly Eye Candy. I haven’t been feeling the same enthusiasm this semester that I usually do. I just want to do one thing. Work OR school. Not both at the same time. I guess it’s not too much longer that I have to tough it out though. And in the meantime, I get to relax and find fun and pretty things to share with you. Okay, enough of my whining. Let’s get on with it, shall we?

Well, that’s all. Hope you enjoyed. Oh, if you want the links to the first two items you’ll have to click on the picture rather than the caption. Links for all the others are through the actual caption. I goofed and was too lazy to fix it. :)
