Because I’m feeling a little lovey dovey…..

I thought I’d share with you this great Love Story in stop motion by Carlos Lascano. It’s been around for a few years so you might have already seen it, but I still thought it was worth sharing. There’s something about the cold weather that’s sweeping in that makes me feel like cuddling up with my honey a little more than usual.

Enjoy your weekend my friends!!

PS- Like the Ooh! Piece of Candy! Facebook page over there in the side bar to stay in the loop and participate in some fun little chats with yours truly!!

just like oops

RED- As in the color of my cheeks this morning when I walked into class fifteen minutes late. Why was I late? Because I actually forgot that I had that particular class at that particular time. When I finally realized that I was supposed to be there, I was already clear across campus and had to turn around and go back. Not my finest moment.

What can I say? I’m still getting used to this new schedule and I have about a million things on my mind. Like the four terms papers I already know I have to write and the 29 books I have to read for one of my classes. Yikes! (Each book is only around 200 pages, but still- that’s a lot of reading for one class!)

Anywho, I’m back on track now and in the right place, so hopefully I can keep it together from here on out. Sigh!

They call me Mellow Yellow

I’m in such a horrible slump right now. With everything! I’ve lost all motivation for school whatsoever, the house is a mess and for once, I don’t care, I’m totally uninspired when it comes to cooking dinner, etc. I’m dying to get out of this rut. I’ve conjured up some bright and sunny items to hopefully chase my blah away!

Upcycled

What is upcycling? Upcycling is another way of recycling. It’s turning unwanted items or waste items into something that can be used again in a new way. Here’s a few of my favorite upcycling DIY projects:
