One of my favorite things is home decor. I often daydream about what I would do to our home if I had more resources. Here are two images (as seen on Design Sponge) that I recently fell in love with:
Like I said, if I had more resources I might pull some fun design ideas from this home. I love how sun-shiney it is as well as all the fun and unexpected things (tee pee? Sure! Why not!) You see that large mirror in the corner? You know I love those! And that area rug! Why do rugs have to be so expensive? Anyway, I love so many things about this home. You can see more of it at Design Sponge.
I just wanted to share with you this cute DIY of monster page holders. If you read as much as I do, you may want to make some of your own!
As a side note, I’ve been pinning today and wanted to share two of my favorite For The Kitchen Crush pins that I found:
Lovely, aren’t they? BTW- if you haven’t started pinning yet, what are you waiting for? I love the inspiration and creativity that is shared over there at Pinterest. You must get in on the action!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I made zucchini bread yesterday and will make some more today. What about you?
My crush this week is this mid century modern 650 square foot beauty:
What I love about it:
* How black and white are counted as actual colors!
* The studio feel to the small space- I’ve always wanted to live in a studio.
* The foo dogs (of course.)
* The exposed pipes. Absolutely love how they blend in with the mix of masculine and feminine decor.
* The tufted sofa with exposed legs is my dream come true!
You must click through to see pictures of the rest of the space. You won’t be sorry! I’m a big fan of Jonathan Adler so this space really appeals to me.
Weekly Eye Candy is a series on Ooh! Piece of Candy! that will run every Wednesday or Thursday each week. What follows are the things that caught my eye this week. Hope you enjoy!
Single bloom bouquet
Ham and Cheese Sliders
Simone Jessup Illustration
Hidden Animal Teacups
I haven’t had much time or motivation to blog this week, other than putting this post together. I hope you don’t mind. Monday night I took an aerial trapeze class. It was a lot of fun but I’ve sure got the bruises to prove it wasn’t easy. Tuesday night I took a class with one of my coworkers that turned out to be so much fun and a great workout. I didn’t work out last night because I met my sister for dinner, but I have yoga tonight and zumba on Friday. If you haven’t tried zumba, you really should.
Needless to say, I’ve been coming home and falling straight into bed totally exhausted. That’s a good thing though, even if my blogging does suffer. We’ll see if I have enough energy to make it to my Saturday class! I might have to pass on that one.
Today’s Spaces & Places Crush:
What caught my eye:
* The gorgeous wall decal in those vibrant colors and how it pops right off of that crisp white wall.
* The built ins underneath the window seat. I love any opportunity for built ins.
